New Beginnings is a six-month residential faith based
regeneration program to assist those addicted by alcohol or
drugs to overcome their addiction through regeneration. We
believe that through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ,
an individual can overcome their addictions and become a
productive member of the church and the community. Our
approach is to minister to the body, soul and spirit of the
individual. We are a faith based ministry, proclaiming victory
over addiction thorough Jesus Christ.

New Beginnings is also a Non-Profit Corporation incorporated
in Pennsylvania. We have an IRS Tax Exempt Status under 501© 3.
All gifts to new Beginnings are tax deductable.

New Beginnings is located on a 5 acre parcel of land nestled in the
beautiful rolling hills of Leroy, Pennsylvania. It consists of an 8-bedroom home that houses up to 12 students. There is an outdoor in-ground swimming pool and a full court basketball court.

Reverend Mark & Alisa Burlingame are our Program Directors and have over 20 years experience in ministry and are ordained through Elim Fellowship of New York.

N. B. STATEMENT OF FAITH
VERBAL INSPIRATION OF BIBLE

THE TRINITY – We believe in God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST – We believe that God, the Son, was born by virgin birth through Mary, lived a sinless life, took upon Himself the sins of all men, died in their place, rose again and sits on God’s right hand.

THE HOLY SPIRIT convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, empowering, teaching, baptizing all believers in the body of Christ, indwelling leading up to all truth.

MAN – was created in the image of God, but in Adam’s sin, the race fell and became alienated from God; and unable to remedy his lost condition.

SALVATION – is a gift of God brought to man by grace and received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, (apart from any works by man) whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for forgiveness of our sins.  Upon receiving salvation, we have eternal life and become a new creation, a child of God.

Matt Burlbaw was on Heroin from his teen years till he came to New Beginnings. After graduating the program he is working as a carpenter and has joined the ministry as a junior staff. Matt has been on a mission trip already and looking into starting his own business.

Tom came to us out of jail and carrying a history of alcohol abuse that had pretty much ruined his life. He was depressed and at the end of his rope. After graduating and spending a year as staff Tom moved out and went to work as a plumber for a local company. He is still involved with the ministry and heads up and produces our newsletters that periodically go out. He also teaches at his local church.

New Beginnings offers you a total care residential program with one of the lowest priced drug and alcohol programs in the United States. Most people fighting addictions have gotten themselves in a place of hopelessness and despair in all areas of their lives and especially financially. We believe strongly that finances should not be a barrier to the addict or his family getting help!

Included in just a small monthly fee of $500.00 are all meals, lodging, transportation and all the instructional teaching materials the student will need for a six month stay. We are able to offer these prices because of the sacrificial love and giving of area churches, individuals and businesses that help us offset our costs. You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on programs that don’t work! There is help at affordable prices right here in Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
